Scope
This privacy policy applies to the iOS app Sound Widgets (including the widget and share extensions). It describes what data the app processes and how it is handled.

Overview
Sound Widgets stores your widgets, images, and recordings exclusively on your device. There are no user accounts, no cloud storage by me, and no advertising. The app does not collect usage data and does not share data with third parties.
Your Data Storage
Your widget configurations, photos, and audio recordings are stored only on your iPhone or iPad. The app, Home Screen widget, and share extension access the same local data via an iOS app group — on the device only, not in a cloud.
If you uninstall the app or delete individual widgets, the associated data is removed from your device.
Photos
When you select an image for a widget, a scaled-down copy is saved locally. Your broader photo library is not accessed.
Microphone
Recordings are only made when you actively start them in the app. They remain on your device.
Apple Music
For song search and playback, the app uses Apple MusicKit. Search queries are sent to Apple to display results and play songs. Apple's privacy policy applies to this processing.
Spotify
If you import a Spotify link via the share sheet, the app stores the reference locally in your widget. Tapping the widget opens the Spotify app on your device. I do not receive any data from Spotify and do not operate any servers for this feature.
Import via Share Sheet
The share extension processes content only when you actively send it to Sound Widgets from another app (e.g. Apple Music, Spotify, Voice Memos, or Files). The imported information is stored locally on your device to prepare a new widget.
In-App Purchases
The Tip Jar offers voluntary in-app purchases processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit. The app does not receive payment data. Apple's terms and privacy policy apply to all transactions.
No Sharing, No Analytics
The app contains no advertising, no tracking, and no analytics tools. No usage profiles are created and no personal data is transmitted to me or third parties — except for the communication with Apple (MusicKit, StoreKit) described above, which you trigger by using those features.
Your Rights
Because the app does not store personal data on my servers, you can manage your content at any time: edit or delete widgets, uninstall the app, or revoke permissions in iOS Settings.

Changes
